Ruth and Joe’s lovely London wedding

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of working on the wedding of my lovely friends Ruth and Joe. Gathering all their fantastic ideas together I created their stationery and helped decorate their reception venue for what was a fabulous day filled with tonnes of love and laughter.

Ruth & Joe got married at St Etheldreda’s Church in London (which has some of the most beautiful stained glass windows I’ve ever seen!), and their reception was at The Royal Inn pub in Hackney which overlooks Victoria Park, and despite being March the weather was beautiful! To capture the beauty of the day was the lovely Nabeel of Nabeel’s camera, here are some of my favourite pictures from the day…

It is so lovely looking back at their pictures!

Their table plan idea was genius – all Blur songs…including “Death of a Party” and “Essex Dogs” amazing! The beautiful flowers were created by the fabulous Lisa from Bloom Bar in South Woodford. The darker florals worked perfectly for the time of year.

In addition to their stationery I created large R&J Letters which I wallpapered in the print from their stationery, complete with battery operated lights, they looked fab as it got dark.
