Our Process

We love creating bespoke designs and specialise in beautiful hand illustration, with a real love of playful pattern and custom maps. We offer custom design services for wedding stationery and personal stationery. So if you’re looking for something original and unique to you, that looks fantastic and tells your story, why not get in touch. We aim to reply to you within 48 hours.

Here's how it works

Get in touch

Send us a message at the studio as soon as you can to make sure there is time to create your custom design. We take on a limited number of bespoke commissions every year to ensure we have enough time to spend on each one.

Design Consultations

We will talk through your ideas (style, mood and budget) in person, on the phone or via Skype so we can better understand what you are looking for and create a concept.

Pricing and timescales

We will put together a quote based on your initial concept design and the time scales that the work can be undertaken.

Deposit and wording

Once you have approved the costs/time scales we request a 50% non-refundable deposit on the quoted price of the project before we can begin the design process.

Create your design

Once your deposit and final wording have been received we will begin creating your design. We will send through initial design proofs based on our consultation. You then let us know your thoughts, and any changes you want to make (we will send through our proofing checklist to help you).

From here your design is worked on until it’s perfect. Bespoke designs include 3 electronic proofs, additional proofs or changes will be need to be charged for.

Printing and Shipping

Once you have approved your final proof and we have received your final payment, your design will be printed and shipped to you.
