I am not one for overly staged wedding photographs. The idea of me laying on the floor looking up at the camera in my wedding dress, or jumping up and down on a space-hopper fills me with dread and I can feel my cheeks redden. (Please forgive me if these are the type of pictures you chose for your own wedding – as with so many wedding related choices it is very personal).
What I do know is that I have seen some incredible, natural, relaxed portraits (in my opinion) of the happy couple, that seem to subtly celebrate the relationships and personalities of those in front of the camera on their special day. Boy would I love to get just one picture of Paul and I that captures what we’re about, like I think these pictures do of these couples:
