With all the Olympic fervour, I’m in the mood for a celebration, and what better way to celebrate than with confetti! I’m not one for following wedding traditions for the sake of it, but I do really like the concept of confetti, the colours the shapes, the atmosphere! I love seeing the wedding ‘confetti shot’, and it’s often one of the most natural, fun poses from the day. There are so many fun ways of giving confetti to your guests, and I think it really adds to the sense of celebration. Here are some ideas for you.
Why not make your own confetti from scraps of paper to pick out some of the other colours from your day. You could also sew together little confetti bags from glassine paper to give out to your guests.
Beautiful handmade confetti bags with the bride and grooms name printed on them, are handed out with the programs before the ceremony.
I love this idea…using a hole punch the couple made confetti from the Sunday newspapers over which they fell in love.
If you don’t want to use traditional rice, paper or dried flower confetti, then what about using mini poms poms, such a great idea!
You don’t just have to throw confetti after the ceremony, it’s also great to celebrate the couple’s big exit at the end of the night.
