Lucy says I do is an independent design studio based in London, creating beautiful, sustainable paper goods that bring joy to the everyday. Founded in 2012 by illustrator and designer Lucy, the studio was born from a simple belief: that useful things can also be beautiful, and that even the smallest moments deserve thoughtful design.

At Lucy says I do, we believe that beauty is found in the details, the joy of a perfectly paired colour combination, the nostalgia of a childhood storybook, the wonder of seeing the world through fresh eyes. Inspired by these moments, we create hand-illustrated stationery and paper goods designed to bring warmth, creativity, and a quiet sense of wonder to daily life.

Each product begins with a hand-drawn pattern, often inspired by vintage textiles, botanical studies, or the gentle rhythm of everyday life. These illustrations form the heart of our collections, each one telling a story, each one crafted to be both beautiful and genuinely useful. From a notebook that becomes a trusted companion, to a greeting card too special to throw away, our paper goods are made to be kept, not just admired.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. All our products are printed and assembled in the UK using FSC-certified papers, vegetable-based inks, plastic-free packaging, and thoughtful, environmentally responsible production methods. We care deeply about what we make, how we make it, and who we make it for.

Now in our twelfth year, Lucy says I do remains proudly independent and small by design. That means nothing is mass produced, every detail matters, and our commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and design that celebrates the beauty of everyday life remains at the heart of everything we do.
