Personalised/Bespoke Items

All designs and illustrations are the copyright and property of Lucy says I do. Neither you, nor a third party may copy any part of the design or reproduce it in any way. It is your responsibility to obtain any copyright material, for example poems or hymns that you would like to feature as part of your designs.

 

Quotes and Deposits

Please note quotes are valid for 30 days. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before any design work takes place. The balance is required to be paid in full before any printing starts.

 

Timings

Standard orders (cards and prints) are usually processed between 2 to 3 business days.

Wedding stationery that has to be personalised can take between 2 to 6 weeks depending on the level of customisation.

Personalised wedding designs – once the Lucy says I do studio has received payment, plus all the required information to create your design, a member of the team will email you through an electronic proof of your design within 3 working days. Updates to your designs after the first proof take 2-3 days. Once you have approved your proof, your design will be printed and dispatched within 10 working days via next day delivery.

Bespoke designs – on receipt of a 50% deposit payment and all wording for your items, we would provide you with an electronic proof of your design within 14 working days.  Updates to your designs after the first proof take 3-5 days. Once you have approved your proof, balance payment is required. On receipt of balance payment your design will be printed and dispatched within 14 working days via next day delivery.

Proofs and revisions

For personalised designs you can make up to 2 free revisions to your design (original proof plus 1 change), after these revisions will be charged at £25 each.

For bespoke designs additional amends to your designs in excess of the allocated hours will be charged at an hourly rate of £60.

You are responsible for the proof reading of all text and copy in the pdf proofs supplied – please refer to our proofing checklist here when approving your proofs. We strongly recommend that you print your pdf proof in order to view it at the correct size. We will not begin print production until we have received written sign-off from you referencing the correct proof to proceed with.

 

Refunds, returns

Unused and unopened orders may be returned within 28 days of receipt for a refund. Once we receive the returned item(s) the charges will be credited to you (though postage and shipping costs are non-refundable). Used, opened, and/or sale items cannot be returned. Please note that this does not apply for wedding stationery and/or any personalised and bespoke orders.

50% of the overall cost, or the deposit cost (whichever is larger), of all wedding stationery and/or personalised orders are non-refundable after order confirmation. In addition, wedding stationery and/or personalised orders may not be cancelled or refunded after final proofs have been approved. Once you have provided final approval of your wedding stationery and/or personalised order, we cannot accept returns due to errors. By approving your final proof you accept responsibility for the information, wording and layout as shown. If errors are discovered after proof approval, we are required to charge for a reprint at the minimum quantity.

Returns cannot be accepted due to typographical errors or customer detail input errors. Once your final proof is approved you accept responsibility for any errors. If mistakes are found after the final proof, and your items need to be reprinted, we will have to charge for any reprinting.

 

Cancellation

For a standard order – yes, if it is prior to dispatch we are able to refund any payment taken. If after dispatch (within 30 days), please return goods and you will be refunded. To cancel an order please contact us here.

What if my items are damaged or faulty?

Any damaged or faulty goods must be notified to us by email within 5 days of receipt. Any damaged or faulty goods must be returned to us to be checked and verified before a refund is issued. If your items are deemed faulty we will be happy to replace them or if this is not possible, replace them with an alternative. Lucy says I do will offer you a refund for the amount paid for the faulty part of your order if it is not possible to correct or replace your items.

 

Printing/colour variations

Printed colours will always differ very slightly to those seen on screen. If unsure about a colour printers proofs are also available on request.

 

Ageing

Lucy says I do accepts no responsibility for the effect of age and general wear and tear on products and materials used.

All designs and illustrations are the copyright and property of Lucy says I do. Neither you, nor a third party may copy any part of the design or reproduce it without permission from Lucy says I do.

 

Delivery

Personalised and bespoke items will be sent via next day delivery (within the UK) using a tracked and signed for service.  

Standard orders will be sent via Royal Mail unsigned.

Lucy says I do shall not be liable for late delivery on the part of the courier.

Please note, Lucy says I do is not responsible for any custom fees or duties incurred on international shipments as these are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. To find out more information about rules, regulations and rates, please contact your local customs office.
